Linked Data emerged as the latest evolutional step of the Web and the cloud they reside is growing with tremendous rate. It is by far the most widely accepted method for exposing data on the global information space, known as the Semantic Web. Scientists and governments around the world already value the potential and benefits that linked data based applications and services have to offer and this becomes the main drive behind an unprecedented, global effort to contribute in this direction.

With an intention of becoming part of this effort, this blog is an attempt to improve upon the knowledge and understanding of the Semantic Web and Linked Data. It is intended to reveal their value and in a sense to bring them closer to the everyday user.
